Woman Orders ‘Moana’-Themed Birthday Cake, Gets Marijuana Design Instead

Instead of receiving a

Cassandra Walker, the Dairy Queen employee who took the order, told USA Today that she was sacked on Monday for the incident - which also happened to be her birthday.

"This is back-to-school time", Walker tells USA Today.

'She walked by as I decorated the cake.

"The lady who made my cake was apologetic and offered to make another one".

Although the viral error garnered a lot of jokes online, Walker isn't laughing.

"It's not amusing to me", Cassandra Walker tells USA Today.

"I think they put the little pony on there because my mama told them I loved cartoons so they thought to just throw a random cartoon character on there".

"I was just sharing with my Facebook friends how amusing the mix-up was and it just went from there", Davis explained.

Walker said she was made aware of her termination by Al Autry, one of the Milledgeville Dairy Queen's owners who previously told INSIDER that the mix-up was a "simple misunderstanding". Instead, she got a marijuana-themed cake.

The recipient of the marijuana-themed birthday cake was Kensli Taylor Davis, 25, of Milledgeville, Georgia.

Davis still plans on buying a birthday cake next year. Walker, who has worked at the Dairy Queen for about a year, also alleged her manager gave her approval to make the cake with the illicit theme.

'Well needless to say these people thought she said marijuana.

Walker added that by Thursday afternoon, a Dairy Queen manager - a different person from the one who approved the cake - had called and offered her her job back. "But the first one was so good we weren't anxious about it", Davis said. However, the worker Cassandra Walker misunderstood the order and the cake did not pay tribute to The Rock's smash-hit movie.

"My sister picked it up and Facetimed my mama the minute she saw it", Davis told INSIDER.
