Starbucks launches Tie-Dye Frappuccino

The Starbucks Tie Dye Frappuccino before and after it starts to melt

To create the yellow, red and blue colors, Starbucks combined turmeric, red beet and spirulina.

Starbucks is hoping to replicate the success it had with the Unicorn Frappuccino in 2017.

The Tie-Dye Frappuccino will be the newest addition to Starbucks' ever-growing (and shrinking) family of Instagammable, limited-edition frappuccinos. In fact, it will only be sold "for a few days", while supplies last, according to the press release.

First off, people are pitying the baristas who will be making the rather complicated drink. Starbucks eagerly jumped on the bandwagon with their Unicorn Frappucino, the pink and blue beverage that sold out and left baristas grumbling over the hard to make beverage. Many businesses are now working to be successful in a new way- having Instagram appeal.

First Case of West Nile Virus of 2019 Confirmed in Audubon County
In a small number of cases, infection can cause encephalitis or meningitis, which can lead to paralysis, coma and possibly death. The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting the state's first human case of West Nile virus this year.

"The Tie-Dye Frappuccino has a tropical fruit flavor that will take you to your happiest place", the coffee chain said in a statement.

The Tie-Dye Frappuccino will be available at all Starbucks locations in Canada starting on Wednesday, July 10. Get it while you can.

What's the flavor you ask?

In the past, Starbucks has done a Unicorn Frapp, as well as a Mermaid Frappucino and, last year, a Crystal Ball one. Despite the variety of visual tones in the drink, the flavor is all banana (with maybe a hint of coconut?).
