Trump campaign fires multiple pollsters after unflattering numbers leak

Trump Camp To Fire Pollsters Following Embarrassing Data Leaks

Those close to the President say Biden has occupied his head space more than any other candidate in the Democratic field, because Trump fears Biden poses a more serious threat to the blue-collar appeal that helped him win the 2016 election.

President Donald Trump's campaign fired several pollsters after internal polling numbers that showed the President lagging behind Democratic presidential candidates in key states were made public, according to multiple sources.

NBC's report also included new details of the poll, which apparently showed Trump trailing Biden by seven points in Iowa, eight in North Carolina, 17 in Virginia, one in OH, six in Georgia, 14 in Minnesota, and 15 in Maine.

The University of Texas/Texas Tribune polled 1,200 registered voters over the Internet from May 31-June 9 with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.83 percentage points. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton came in second with 40.7% of the vote.

The poll was conducted from April 25 to April 28 and has a margin of error of 5.3 percent. Adam Geller, who was also a pollster for the Trump campaign in 2016, was another who was let go, according to another Republican familiar with the situation.

The President's new polling is extraordinary and his numbers have never been better'.

Stephanopoulos revealed Trump was speaking to his chief of staff.

Tapper reviewed Trump's "cascade of lies" about the polls and said, "The president's definition of fake polls apparently means polls he does not like".

Yesterday, The New York Times reported that the president's campaign, furious over the data leak, was cutting ties to three of its five pollsters. His campaign called the numbers old and outdated. He's coughing in the middle of my answer.
