Paul Pogba considers going on strike to secure Real Madrid move

Pogba was brilliant for a couple of months after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December.

Both United and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old, who enjoyed an impressive loan spell with Leicester in the second half of last season.

United are said to want a fee of around £160m for Pogba, something which may prove problematic for Real, given their free-spending start to the summer.

No one played more (27 appearances), scored (11 goals) or assisted (7) under the Norwegian coach than Pogba but that partnership could seemingly be coming to an end.

Yet while the inconsistent Pogba has been linked with Real Madrid, Pires has urged his compatriot to stay put in the transfer window and prove his worth at United.

Manchester United's Paul Pogba says this summer "could be a good time to move elsewhere".
