Target cash registers not working at stores nationwide

A computer outage left thousands of frustrated Target shoppers unable to purchase their goods at the checkout registers, on Saturday.

Target Corporate has yet to comment on the malfunction, but customers - ranging from Wisconsin to NY to Florida - are taking to Twitter to report the mass outage and long checkout lines.

Target Corporate recently tweeted their apologies for the inconvenience and said their "teams are troubleshooting now".

Customers took to Twitter to complain about the outage under the hashtag #targetdown with many users commending Target employees for handling the situation well.
