First look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay revealed

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Combat

This is the first single-player action Star Wars game in many years, with the most recent being The Force Unleashed. Instead, we got a glimpse at what's going on with the story, but not a whole lot else. While it's already been confirmed the title won't be coming to Nintendo's hybrid system, there's still an interesting link this game has with one of the Japanese company's famous series that's worth acknowledging. This new collection includes the Razer BlackWidow Lite mechanical. Early in the footage, we got to see one of Rogue One's major characters, Saw Gererra, who was played by Forest Whitaker, seemingly reprise his role in Jedi Fallen Order.

One of the most notable force abilities used in the demo was the ability to manipulate time, and damn. It was hard to get a feel for it, but it seems like there are two kinds of enemies: regular mooks who go down in one or two swings and foes that are more risky. Cal is dedicated to the Jedi Order, with Vince Zampella and Stig Asmussen assuring this is a "Jedi story". Fallen Order was developed by Respawn - the same development studio being Titanfall and Apex Legends. Presumably, there will be plenty of other Force power interactions to toy with on launch. However, players will have to hunt them down in-game regularly, as BD-1 can only carry so many. It looks super fun and the combat looks very satisfying. The game releases in just a few short months, so fans don't have too much longer to wait, but only time will tell if it lives up to the Star Wars audience's massive expectations.
