Sanders claims she didn't lie, despite Mueller finding

James Clapper Mueller report is devastating

CNN political analyst April Ryan rebuked former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee on Friday and told the conservative politician to "sit down" after he accused her of inciting violence against his daughter, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.

The Justice Department released on Thursday a redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller's long-awaited 400-plus-page report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

On Thursday night Ryan used CNN's platform to stress that Sanders should resign after the Robert Mueller's Special Counsel report found that Sanders admitted to lying to the press about why President Trump fired former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey in 2017. The report also says she acknowledged the comment "was not founded on anything". They can't trust what's said from the president's mouthpiece, spokesperson, from the people's house.

Switching the focus, she told Stephanopoulos that Comey was a "disgraced leaker" and a "dirty cop".

Trump almost made that a self-fulfilling prophecy as he then plotted for months to thwart the probe, spawning a culture of corruption and deception inside the White House. He also said Congress would also need the full, unredacted report, including the underlying documents.

The passages on Sanders's comments illustrate how the White House tried to justify the firing amid reports that Trump was trying to quash the investigation.

"The White House staff will never be lectured on truth-telling from the media that pushed a flat-out lie about Donald Trump for two years", principal deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley told The Times.

Sanders replaced Spicer as White House press secretary in July 2017. One reporter asked what basis the White House had for that conclusion, given that the FBI's acting director had publicly said that Comey still had the support among the FBI's agents.

In her appearance on "GMA", Sanders told ABC's George Stephanopoulos that the "countless" part of her claim was an exaggeration, and really only a few agents had called to thank the president. The president did not "dictate" the statement, she explained on air, but "weighed in" and "relayed information he wanted included".

"Huckabee, Sanders" father, tweeted Friday night that Ryan's "incitement to murder" should lead to a revocation of her White House credentials.

'Statements are made about me by certain people in the Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue.

But Democratic House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, also speaking on ABC, said Mueller's report clearly outlines "a culture of lying" at the White House.
