They were booked and released on bail set at $1 million each for allegedly paying a college consultant company $500,000 to ensure their two daughters would be accepted to the University of Southern California as athletic recruits. She's also starred in a number of popular holiday movies on the network and the ongoing series "Garage Sale Mysteries".

The company distanced itself from Loughlin in a statement on Thursday, saying it was "saddened" by the allegations she's facing.

Hallmark Cards Inc. says it will no longer working with Loughlin and has stopped development of all productions involving her.

On Wednesday, the "Full House" star was taken into custody over her alleged connection to the scheme. Lori Loughlin's surprising arrest this week poses a challenge for the family-friendly brand with heartland roots.

One day before Crown Media Family's decision, a US federal court judge granted Loughlin permission to return to British Columbia to continue working on her Hallmark projects. She was released on a $1 million bond and permitted to return to Vancouver, where she had been filming When Calls the Heart and other Hallmark projects.

The fallout from the college bribery scandal has hit the Loughlin-Gianulli family hard.

Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, are among dozens of parents accused of securing their children's college admission with bribes and falsified exams.

Loughlin has not yet entered a plea in the case, and her attorney declined comment Wednesday after her first appearance in a Los Angeles federal court.

Paris-based Sephora says in a statement Thursday that after reviewing the developments, the company has ended its partnership with 19-year-old Olivia Jade Giannulli "effective immediately". When Calls the Heart, which stars Loughlin as a schoolteacher in a turn-of-the-century Canadian coal town, is now airing its sixth season.

Loughlin and Desperate Housewives alum Felicity Huffman were both indicted on Tuesday, March 12, as part of Operation Varsity Blues, a federal investigation into the scam. It's quickly moved to respond to any flare-ups, such as removing a gift wrap from circulation after one person complained of seeing a swastika in its pattern. So did her empire, despite Stewart's efforts to separate her personal actions from it: "Wrong - you're the brand", he said.

While Stewart may exemplify her business, Loughlin wasn't the only engaging star on Hallmark's roster.
