House Republicans release transcript of former FBI official Peter Strzok

Then-FBI official Peter Strzok testifies before House lawmakers in July

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok did not believe his affair with FBI lawyer Lisa Page could have made him vulnerable to blackmail by foreign operatives, according to recently released transcripts of his closed-door interview with the House Judiciary Committee.

"Transcripts of two closed-door testimonies by Lisa Page, the former assistant general counsel at the FBI, have provided new insights into the actions of the FBI, Department of Justice (DOJ), and others-including CIA Director John Brennan-regarding their investigation of Donald Trump", reports the Epoch Times.

The Strzok transcript is the third set Mr. Collins has released, following ones from Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and Ms. Page herself.

Page's private testimony shows she told the committee that the Federal Bureau of Investigation once considered charging Clinton with "gross negligence" in connection with her private email server scandal.

Describing in vague terms the conversations at the FBI around the time the Russian Federation investigation was opened, Strzok said there was debate about protecting a source, and Page argued that because it was unlikely Trump would get elected, investigators could move slowly and not put the source at risk.

"She was not considered a target by the Justice Department", Mr. Strzok told the House Judiciary Committee, saying that while investigators saw her as a "critical player", she was "not by any means the only person that we had an investigative interest in".

Djokovic sent packing out of Indian Wells Masters
Fourth-seeded Roger Federer of Switzerland will play in the third match on Stadium 1, facing 22nd-seeded Kyle Edmund of Britain. But Djokovic and Fognini made a strong start to the match tie-break as they won five points in a row to take open a 6-1 lead.

The agents were dismissed from Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III's investigative team in 2017 after it was discovered they had exchanged anti-Trump texts.

Hannity asked if Collins there would be accountability for the revelations released in the transcripts. "No he won't. We'll stop it".

Asked in general terms whether he had "ever been part of the FBI's efforts to infiltrate a US political campaign" or "been part of an effort to put a spy in a USA political campaign", Strzok said no.

The FBI is investigating the private server Hillary Clinton used while Secretary of State and whether Clinton or her aides broke any laws in their handling of classified information.

He said he didn't recall specifically writing it, but says he now thinks the "we" he was talking about was the country at large. "And, we're going to say, we're going to get this out and we're going to put it in ways that people can easily understand, not a large dump, we're going to take it methodically as we go, as we get them cleared, and we're going to get them out to the American people".
