Toronto police say they have identified the woman shown in a video of a chair being thrown from a downtown condominium balcony.

The chair appears to hurtle towards the Gardiner Expressway, one of the busiest highways in the country, but there are no reported injuries.

The incident allegedly occurred on Saturday, February 9 at 10 am, when a woman threw a chair and other items off of a balcony located on a very high floor.

The video ends before the chair hits the ground, and police say it landed at the entrance of the condo building.

"We believe we know who she is", said Toronto police spokesman Constable David Hopkinson.
