President Donald Trump Mocked for Major Typo in Latest Tweet

The Funniest Smocking Gun Tweets

The internet is not done schooling President Trump on his Twitter typos.

"Democrats can't find their smoking gun to tie the Trump campaign to Russian Federation after James Comey's testimony", guest host Carley Shimkus said, heading into a commercial break.

If you are wondering whether "smocking" itself is actually a word, it is - but it does not have much to do with guns, or collusion. @FoxNews That's because there was NO COLLUSION. "So now the Dems go to a simple private transaction, wrongly call it a campaign contribution, ..."

Of course, who can forget one of the most famous mysteries of the Trump presidency - the "covfefe" incident.

Prominent US columnist Connie Schultz tweeted a childhood picture of herself wearing a smock.

"Today in Spellcheck Can't Save You: "Smocking" is a type of embroidery made of many small folds sewn into place", the dictionary tweeted.

Of course, this isn't the first time Trump has caused himself more harm than good when using Twitter.

Last year, while criticising media coverage of his presidency, Mr Trump used the word "covfefe" instead of "coverage", inspiring an onslaught of mockery and memes.

People immediately debated how it happened - was it was a typo, or did Trump really think smoking is spelled smocking?
