Trump Picks Former 'FOX & Friends' Correspondent Heather Nauert as UN Ambassador

President Donald Trump is set to name State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert as the next US ambassador to the United Nations according to multiple reports

President Donald Trump is expected to announce he will nominate State Department spokeswoman and former Fox News anchor Heather Nauert to be the next U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, officials familiar with the plans said.

Nauert is a former Fox News Channel reporter who had little foreign policy experience before becoming State Department spokeswoman. He said he thought she would be "respected by all". "Haley also lacked foreign policy experience when she took the United Nations posting, but she had twice been elected governor of SC". The former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations once said that if you lopped off the top 10 floors of the organisation's NY headquarters, it would make no difference.

"We guide all of our students to find their passion and set out to achieve their personal and professional goals".

Nauert, a former Fox News host, has seen a meteoric rise in the Trump administration, but that apparently does not equal Cabinet rank. Tony Sayegh, a former Fox contributor, now serves in communications at the Treasury Department.

And, last but not least, no one would deny Nauert's attractiveness, which seems crucial in the noble role of being the "US face" and White House policy mouthpiece overseas, doesn't it? She hadn't specialized in foreign policy or global relations.

She will also have to deal with issues such as North Korea's nuclear program, Yemen's starvation as well as back US's effort's to contain Iran's influence over West Asia.

‘Stranger Things’ Retro Game Will Follow the Events of Season Three
The forthcoming new season of Stranger Things will be accompanied by its own mobile game. The game, in 16-Bit, will follow the events of Stranger Things Season 3.

Before working as a correspondent and breaking news anchor on President Trump's favorite TV show, "Fox and Friends", Nauert worked as a correspondent for ABC News.

The State Department used to hold daily briefings.

But when White House officials told her they wanted her, she accepted. "Ambassador Haley was a far more high-level figure, particularly early in the administration". "She's very talented, very smart, very quick".

She also would arrive at a time when Trump and members of his foreign policy team have all displayed sometimes open contempt for the United Nations and its affiliated agencies.

Is Nauert up for the new role? Nauert was then appointed acting undersecretary of state for public diplomacy and public affairs and was for a time the highest-ranking woman and fourth highest-ranking official in the building.

"Haley lost a degree of autonomy when John Bolton became the national security adviser, because he had strong views about the U.N", said Stephen Pomper of the Crisis Group, an organization that works to prevent wars.
