TMZ: Kim Porter, model and mother of Diddy's children, dies at 47

E! News has also learned everyone is devastated over the news especially because Kim was a really great mother who was respected by all those close to her.

Diddy (real name: Sean Combs) - who has remained extremely close with Porter, co-parenting their children - was seen outside Porter's home looking "distraught, " and her death has affected many outside her family as well.

Porter leaves behind twin girls, Jessie James and D'Lila; and a son, Christian Combs - all fathered by Diddy.

Kim Porter was found dead in her home on Thursday.

"Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter".

While Kim's cause of death has not yet been determined, law enforcement sources confirmed no foul play was involved.

On Thursday morning, Kim was unresponsive when family members tried to wake her, and paramedics responded to a call for a patient in cardiac arrest.

Along with her modeling career, Porter appeared in the TV series "Wicked Wicked Games" as well as Diddy's VH1 show "I Want to Work for Diddy".

A source also told the outlet that Porter had been suffering from "flu-like symptoms" for several weeks, but it's still unclear how she died.

According to celebrity news site TMZ, she had even called her doctor the day before her death stating that she was not getting any better after being treated with vitamins and Saline.

Porter and Diddy dated from 1994 to 2007.

"They were still a family".
