Zuckerberg orders Facebook execs to use Android after Cook remarks

Screen capture of a comment posted by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to the group Secret Tel Aviv

The interview was held before Zuckerberg was expected to appear before Congress in the United States to testify in the Cambridge Analytical issue. It's not clear if the order was ever enforced, or to what degree, but it apparently came on the heels of an MSNBC interview in which Tim Cook openly criticized Facebook's data collection and privacy policies in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal and associated congressional hearings.

According to The New York Times, Zuckerberg later ordered management to use Android phones, reasoning that more Facebook users use Android phones than iPhones (i.e. they could better understand the experiences of their users).

In a following interview by Vox, the Facebook CEO had said that Cook's arguments were "extremely glib" and "not at all aligned with the truth".

He answered: "What would do?"

Manchester United and Chelsea closing in on West Ham United striker
The 29-year-old forward is on top of his game this term despite being linked with an exit last summer. Marko Arnautovic has hinted that he is ready to leave West Ham and "compete with the best players".

"I wouldn't be in this situation", his pithy response was at the time. Privacy to us is a human right. But the two companies have publicly traded barbs for months. Cook said in an interview with Charlie Rose in 2014 that "When an online service is free, you're not the customer".

The sniping continued, according to the Times, as a site connected to a Republican opposition research firm working for Facebook, published several stories critical of Apple. "You are oh great and powerful Zuck", replies a sultry Google Assistant, probably.

We've long encouraged our employees and executives to use Android because it is the most popular operating system in the world. "I think it's the most ridiculous concept". So, what do you think about this? "If you were in alignment with them, then they'd make their products a lot cheaper!" It's not that there is something wrong with the iPhones or that they don't like the device, it's simply because they have been ordered not to use the Apple phone.
