Aerosmith's Joe Perry rushed to hospital after 'collapsing' at concert

Aerosmith rocker Joe Perry reportedly rushed to hospital after performing with Billy Joel

He had just finished performing Walk This Way with Billy Joel when sources claim he "collapsed" and "looked terrible".

Perry was taken out of the Garden on a stretcher after paramedics worked on him in his dressing room, reportedly inserting a tracheal tube down his throat at one point.

It adds paramedics backstage gave Perry oxygen and used a tracheal tube to clear his airway before taking him to the hospital.

As of this morning, he remains at the hospital where his representatives told Fox News that he's both alert and responsive.

Perry missed five concerts and a charity performance, but returned to the stage for the band's show at Rohnert Park in California weeks later.

Aerosmith has been planning a Las Vegas residency for 2019.
