Ariana Grande almost falls, tears up during live ‘Thank U, Next’ performance

Is Ariana Grande Rebooting the First Wives Club Reboot?

Grande gave her debut performance of "thank u, next" on Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and the First Wives Club-inspired set and costumes only upped her performance.

The tune, which namechecks several of her famous exes, including former fiance, Pete Davidson, the late Mac Miller, Big Sean, and Ricky Alvarez, is a touching tribute to the past men in her life and to the woman she's become as a result.

Ariana and her backup performers, Victoria Monet and Tayla Parx, channeled the 1996 film starring Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton in all-white ensembles.

Judging by social media posts earlier this week Grande did not respond well to Davidson's reference to their breakup during "SNL" promos (in one, he jokingly asked this week's musical guest, Maggie Rogers, to marry him), yet the song seems meant to clear the air. Holding hands with my mama.

In a split second, as she's getting off the chair while still singing live, you can see her stumble just a bit and she even stops singing, saying, "Oh, my God!" as she gains her balance and goes on.

Head coach Jason Garrett and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan are likely to finish the 2018 season with the Dallas Cowboys . There was a missed field goal before Cooper's TD, and Prescott's interception after that in their first home loss this season.

As for the performance, it was definitely live as she almost took a faceplant trying to step down from a chair on the wedding reception-inspired set. "We love you, we support you".

In an interview with TMZ, the 25-year-old said: 'That's good news [that Ariana didn't name-drop him].

"We were supposed to come down?" Pete Davidson, who until very recently was Grande's fiancé, had made a joke about their breakup on an SNL preview, and Grande didn't appreciate it.
