Meghan Markle Is Cutting Back Her Royal Tour Schedule

Priyanka Chopra 'Really Excited' About Meghan Markle's Pregnancy

Meghan Markle, 37, is taking a much needed break from the royal tour with Prince Harry, 34, after what seems like a nonstop week of appearances and she's doing so to make sure she gets enough rest during her pregnancy.

"The Duke will attend the cycling as scheduled this morning, and The Duchess will join him for this afternoon's engagements", the statement continued.

On Saturday, the soon-to-be first-time dad gushed about his wife and their news that they would be expecting their first child during his speech at the Invictus Games Opening Ceremony in Sydney, Australia.

The Duke of Sussex told competitors at the games on Sunday that his wife was "resting back at home".

The UK's unofficial royal couple, David and Victoria Beckham, also arrived in Sydney yesterday for the games.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are expecting their first child together and the world has been going insane over that piece of news ever since the palace announced it.

The ceremony overran by more than an hour due to a thunderstorm that had made it too unsafe for the public to take their seats in the outdoor arena, so the Duchess undertook her latest night of the tour with a 10.30pm finish.
