Samsung Galaxy Book2 arrives with Snapdragon 850 and Gigabit LTE

Iphone Xs Max Battery1

The Galaxy Book 2 packs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 850 chip that's been designed specifically for Windows 10 devices, and features LTE support.

The whole package including the tablet, S Pen stylus, and keyboard costs $999.99, and it'll be available online from AT&T, Microsoft, and Samsung on November 2nd.

In what looks like a direct competitor to Microsoft's own 2-in-1, the Galaxy Book 2 touts an always-connected chipset with a multi-day battery life and a new design language, among other things. Sadly, there's still no news for Malaysian availability of the device. For now, the Galaxy Book 2 offers a few compelling features that differentiate it from its rivals, but we'll have to spend more time with it to know if it'll truly stand out.

Mexico's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it needs the United Nations body's help to manage all the refugee applications. Hundreds of other members of the caravan who are lagging behind are expected to join the group that is gathered at the border.

Compared to the previous Galaxy Book, the second-gen model's new kickstand is way more stable and makes it much easier to adjust the screen's angle, and despite its detachable nature, the Galaxy Book 2's keys have an ample amount of spring and key travel. AT&T, Sprint and Verizon stores will stock the PC later this month. This is a somewhat dicey proposition because while the Snapdragon 835 in Asus Nova Go I reviewed earlier this year offered tons of battery life, its performance felt a little too anemic to be considered a true everyday workhorse. This, Samsung boasts, equips the "Always Connected" device with support for Gigabit LTE speed and up to 20 hours of battery life, nearly doubt that offered by the first-gen model. With up to 20 hours of video playback*, you can even stream longer than before. One has to wonder, however, how big of a bottleneck the 4GB of RAM will be.

The triple lens cameras on the back come with a configuration of a 24MP standard lens, a 120-degrees wide-angle 8MP lens and a 5MP depth sensor.

As the latest member of the "Always Connected" PC ranks, the Galaxy Book 2 runs Windows 10 S out of the box, although users can upgrade to the full-fat version of Microsoft's OS.
