Alabama QB Tagovailoa hurt in Missouri game

Alabama star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was dealing with a sprained knee leading up to Saturday's game vs. According to the ESPN telecast, he reinjured his knee on the play and was kept on the sideline as a precautionary measure (Alabama led 30-10 at the time of his injury).

Tua Tagovailoa #13 of the Alabama Crimson Tide celebrates beating the Georgia Bulldogs in overtime to win the CFP National Championship presented by AT&T at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on January 8, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia.

With his three first-half touchdown passes, Tagovailoa became just the second SEC quarterback in the last 15 years to throw for three scores in the first half of three consecutive conference games, joining Heisman Trophy victor Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M. He sat on the ground as trainers looked at his knee before he jogged off the field and into Alabama's medical tent.

However, everything appears to be OK. There's never any doubt in our minds when he has to go in and play quarterback and plenty of other positions. He did not re-enter the game.

Tagovailoa spent almost 10 minutes in the tent, with his parents coming down from the stands to visit him.
