Eduardo Munoz / Reuters Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice arrive at the Federal Court in 2014. 'Mr Giudice, no matter how this turns out, I wish you the best.

The Giudices were both sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to multiple offenses, including conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud.

"Immigration Judge John Ellington ordered Giuseppe Giudice removed from the United States", a spokesperson for Pennsylvania's York Immigration Court told Page Six. "I decided this case as a matter of law".

"I don't understand how I can be deported on this case", he apparently stammered. "If you will, I'll tell you my side".

Not happy: Joe, who was on teleconference, did not take the news well. I shouldn't even be here right now.

Yahoo Entertainment reached out to Giudice's lawyer for comment but did not immediately receive a response. The reality TV personality and his legal team have 30 days to appeal the decision.

Giudice is an Italian citizen who came to the U.S.as an infant and wasn't aware he wasn't an American citizen. "I have to go back and tell my kids this, and they've been waiting to hear from me". Before starting his 41-month prison sentence in March 2016, he told People he wasn't concerned with the possibility of getting deported.

Our sources say she and Trump got along while she was on the fifth season of the "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2012, so we're told she thought she'd give it a shot.

A judge ruled on October 10 that Joe Giudice must be deported to his native country of Italy, according to Radar Online. It's unclear if she still feels that way. The couple was able to serve their prison sentences separately, so someone could be at home with their four kids.

Prison records indicate he is set to be released in March.

Season 9 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres November 7.
