A day after writer-producer Vinta Nanda accused Alok Nath of rape, actor Sandhya Mridul on Wednesday opened up about her alleged sexual harassment at the hands of Nath during the shooting of a telefilm. After hearing the allegations the actor is in shock and unwell. While she forgave him eventually, she said the "damage was done" as he told others in Mumbai that Sandhya was hard to work with. She addressed media on Tuesday with regard to the same and claimed that Alok Nath should be scared because he can not get away from what he did to her and also to his lead actress Navneet Nishan while working on a serial, Tara.

Actress further stated that even after such incident, Alok didn't stop and made calls in her room, every night which traumatised her. Once the woman handed him his clothes Alok Nath started stripping in front of her, she said. My co-star realised what was happening and got me out of there.

The actor further shared what happened when they returned to the hotel, "We went back to the hotel without dinner. The hairdresser was called and made to sleep in my room I was so shaken up". I was taken aback, and tried to make my way out of the room as soon as possible. I fell backwards towards the bathroom door he lunged at me again screaming I want you you're mine.I dodged again. When I tried to run out, he grabbed my hand and manhandled me.

Sandhya Mridul, who is known for starring in films like Angry Indian Goddesses and Page 3, shared with HuffPost India, that she looked up to Alok Nath and worked with him on a telefilm during the start of her career: "Alok Nath was very impressed with me and called me "God's own child" and openly praised me every day". I had the hairdresser moved in to my room permanently. She said, "I was motivated by Tanushree, seeing her speaking up I felt that I should also speak". I stepped aside, he went flying past me into the room. "I am glad CINTAA is taking action against him".

I screamed, shouted, cried and it was done. "But Vinta's post brought it all back", she said. All apologies forgotten. He was a popular man I was a newbie. Attitude my biggest crime. Post the conference, she spoke to a publication about approaching Alok Nath's wife for help.

In the past few days, many women not only from Bollywood but from the other industries as well, have come forward and narrated their traumatising stories of assault.

She said she may have forgiven the actor to preserve her sanity but she will never forgive him for what "you did with Vinta". "I'm sorry. More power to you, to all of us". What I went through is nothing compared to you. "I salute Vinta's courage; I wish I could show the same courage, but life has come way past it and I can't put my family through this", she added.
