President Trump's Twitter pushback Friday on allegations raised by Christine Blasey Ford, who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault shocked many and spurred women to share their stories of assault on social media with the hashtag #whyididntreport. "I've watched, horrified as politicians and pundits refused to believe or take seriously these allegations".

In support, Crazy Rich Asians actor Gemma Chan tweeted: "If you are still unsure why women and men who've been abused might not speak up please take a moment to read #WhyIDidntReport".

Earlier in the day, Trump had tried to cast doubt on Ford, who has accused Kavanaughof holding her down and groping her at party during their high school days.

This time, it was solidarity through attempted education, as sexual assault survivors furiously hit back at Trump and Ford's other detractors with the reasons why they, like Ford, kept their trauma to themselves for so long.

Milano, 45, explained that, after she was attacked, it "took me years after my assault to voice the experience to my closest friends".

Alyssa Milano has revealed she was sexually assaulted 30 years ago but never reported the incident to authorities or told her parents because 'justice was never an option'.

With the successful landing the MINERVA rovers became the first ever mobile robots to conduct observations on an asteroid. The MINERVA-II1 with two rovers was launched from Japan's Hayabusa 2 probe, and landed on the surface of asteroid Ryugu.

On Friday, Milano retweeted Trump's assertion that if Ford was attacked as badly as she claims, "charges would have been immediately filed with local law enforcement authorities by either her or her loving parents".

Ford, a California professor, initially made the accusation in a confidential letter and only came out publicly because she felt her "civic responsibility" was "outweighing my anguish and terror about retaliation", she told The Washington Post. At the time, I thought I might get in trouble for being there in the first place & also I was embarrassed & wanted badly to just forget.

"And know that we will do whatever we can to stop Brett Kavanaugh from serving on the Supreme Court of our United States", she wrote. Ppl liked him. The only friend I told-responded w: 'He wld never do that.' I didn't think anyone would help me.

A big reason why many people don't bother reporting sexual assault is, according to the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN), because on average six out of 310 rapists are incarcerated for their crimes. It took me three decades to tell my parents that the assault had even happened. "Every person who refuses to loudly and openly reject Brett Kavanaugh's nomination is telling every generation of Americans that an alleged abuser's career is more valuable than a survivor's humanity". So, the actress says when she was "raped at 15", she only told her diary.

Oppenheimer, however, was heartened that the intense reaction to the #WhyIDidntReport hashtag is a sign that Ford will be treated better than the misogynistic grilling Anita Hill was subjected to when she came forward to accuse Justice Clarence Thomas of sexual misconduct at his 1991 confirmation hearings.
