Watch Djokovic's priceless reaction after hitting Federer with a forehand

Laver Cup Kyrgios lashes out at match official

All eyes were fixed on longtime rivals Federer and Djokovic as they took the court for the final match, combining forces to play together for the first time after Team Europe had swept the first three singles matches.

Sock and Anderson won the tiebreaker after Federer double faulted to give Team World a key 5-4 lead.

"It's not easy playing one of the best players of all time, but what an unbelievable atmosphere", said Anderson afterwards.

Djokovic, who was making his Laver Cup singles debut, partnered with Roger Federer in doubles on Friday night where they lost to Anderson and Sock.

Dimitrov cruised past Frances Tiafoe 6-1, 6-4 while Edmund had a tougher time beating World's Jack Sock 6-4, 5-7, 10-6.

Sock and Anderson found their rhythm in the second set, blasting five of their eight aces to level the contest, before the pair took advantage of a Federer double fault at 4-4 in the 10-point match tiebreaker and held on for a critical triumph. On Saturday, wins will be worth two points each instead of one.

May hits back at EU over Brexit plan
Sturgeon said a no deal or "no detail" Brexit was not acceptable following the Prime Minister's update. If there is no divorce agreement, there will be no transition.

The roars at the United Center were reserved more for underdogs Team World but there was no escaping Federer's casual brilliance against Kyrgios.

Kyrgios can reserve his best for the greats of the game and has a 1-3 record against Federer.

An energised crowd were then back out in force for the doubles showdown between Jack Sock and Nick Kyrgios and Grigor Dimitrov and David Goffin.

Djokovic, who has won the last two Grand Slams to move to within six of Federer's record tally, missed the inaugural tournament a year ago due to an elbow injury.

In the singles matches, Federer had an easy 6-3 6-2 win over Kyrgios but Germany's Zverev had to save a match point against American John Isner before winning 3-6 7-6 (7-6) 10-7.

But, the American and South African pair came back stronger in the second set and took it 6-3 to take the game into a tie-breaker.
