Over the last month, President Donald Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen reportedly spent hours cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators. Investigators were also interested in whether Trump or Trump's associates discussed the possibility of a pardon for Cohen.
But after Cohen's guilty plea, Davis said his client had decided "to put his family and country first and tell the truth about Donald Trump".
Cohen pleaded guilty last month to bank and tax fraud. Although his plea agreement did not specifically call for cooperation, Cohen had long intimated that he would assist Mueller's inquiry if asked. I don't control or have access to Mr. Cohen's Twitter account.
His questioning comes during a spurt of activity from the special counsel's office.
Cohen's mysterious message came on the heels of reports alleging he has sat down for several sessions with Mueller's investigators over the past month, answering questions about Trump's business dealings in Russian Federation, possible collusion with the Kremlin and discussions about pardoning criminally convicted associates.
The report hinted at bad news for Trump as Mueller's Russian Federation collusion investigation increasingly closes in on the White House.

India set to pay for Iranian oil using rupees from November
The liability and costs associated with successful transit are paid by the seller until the goods are received by the buyer. The rupee-rial arrangement was used to purchase oil from Iran before sanctions were lifted against it three years ago.
The tweet was deleted nearly immediately and later reposted by Cohen's lawyer, Lanny Davis.
Two of the charges Cohen pleaded guilty to stem from payments made to Playboy model Karen McDougal and Stephanie Clifford, an adult film actress known as Stormy Daniels, to keep them from talking about their affairs with Trump.
Cohen's cooperation agreement could pose a significant blow to the President.
"The guilty plea put Trump in potential legal and political peril, but he claimed what Cohen confessed to was "not a crime" and accused his former lawyer of "[making] up stories in order to get a "deal" - unlike his former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, who was convicted on eight charges stemming from the Mueller probe the same day Cohen pleaded guilty.
"Even though he doesn't have a cooperation deal, attempting to cooperate will help Cohen at sentencing", tweeted Renato Mariotti, a former federal prosecutor in IL.
