That's not even up for debate.

During Marian Catholic High School night at Guaranteed Rate Field on Saturday, Sister Mary Jo Sobiek took the mound to deliver the first pitch.

Sister Mary Jo Sobieck, originally from St. Cloud, Minn., now works at Marian Catholic High School in IL.

After she graduated, she taught at Holy Rosary School in Duluth. "She threw a flawless pitch".

Whoever made that decision hit a home run.

Chicago right-hander Lucas Giolito, who caught Sister Mary Jo's pitch, said he was wowed.

The Royals may have won the game 3-1, but the story was Sister Mary Jo.

The sports world now has another Chicago nun to celebrate.

As you might recall, Loyola-Chicago superfan and team Chaplain Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt was an absolute rock star during the 2018 NCCA Men's Basketball National Tournament.

Sister Jean set a standard that's tough to live up to.

He added, "She stepped back at about 45 feet, and threw a bullet".

Sister Mary Jo Sobiek has become an overnight internet sensation after throwing a near flawless pitch before the White Sox played the Kansas City Royals on Saturday.
