YouTube has removed an ad for the new Conjuring movie, The Nun, because it was too scary and it violated the company's policies.

The short teaser for the upcoming horror film has been terrifying YouTube users - the clip is completely silent before it goes extremely loud. "If you see an ad on youtube with the volume sign being turned down and nothing else, ITS A JUMPSCARE for the new NUN movie coming out. i advise you look away and/or turn down the volume if you have anxiety or just straight up hate jumpscares, pls rt to save a life".

YouTube quickly responded to the user, where they shared that the video violated their shocking content policy and that they would be taking it down.

You might not be able to watch the trailer for the horror movie The Nun on YouTube anymore, but the new global poster is here to creep you out and tide you over in until the film hits theaters. Together, the two of them uncover the order's unholy secret.

"The Nun" is a spinoff of "The Conjuring" movie franchise. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in The Conjuring 2, as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

Are you excited for the new horror flick?

The Nun is directed by Corin Hardy and stars Taissa Farmiga, Demian Bichir, Charlotte Hope, Ingrid Bisu, Jonas Bloquet, and Bonnie Aarons.

The Nun arrives in theatres on September 7, and we're guessing this whole YouTube controversy will only help - rather than hurt - the film at the box office.
