Trump slams 'lowlife' ex-aide over N-word accusation

Omarosa Manigault-Newman then an aide to President Donald Trump watches during a meeting with parents and teachers in the Roosevelt Room of the White House in Washington. The White House is slamming a new book

She also says she later concluded that he is a racist and a bigot.

Like many who are invested in following this controversy, one Twitter user is curious about her motive behind releasing this book because "Omarosa knew about tapes of Trump using the N-word way back in The Apprentice, and yet she still went to work for him at the White House and still bragged to PBS Frontline that "every critic, every detractor will have to bow down to President Trump".

Manigault Newman's book also alleges how Trump made a farcical effort to sell copies of his book Trump: The Art Of The Deal at his inauguration as President in January a year ago.

She recounts how Trump battled to have a tanning bed installed when he moved into the White House.

Trump was responding to a question from New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman about Manigault Newman's tell-all memoir that was announced this week.

Manigault Newman claims Trump wanted to use his own business book at the swearing-in ceremony rather than the bible. Just think how many copies I'd sell - maybe a commemorative inauguration copy!'

Elsewhere in her book, she claims the president suffers from "mental decline" and alleges she once saw Trump chew up a piece of paper after a meeting with his then-lawyer Michael Cohen.

She wrote the book after Trump fired her.

"During production he was miked, and there is definitely an audio track".

"Instead of telling the truth about all the good President Trump and his administration are doing to make America safe and prosperous, this book is riddled with lies and false accusations", Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement, as reported by CNN. She says that Trump used racial slurs like the "N-word" during tapings of his reality show The Apprentice and that there are tapes of him saying it. Early excerpts have been denounced by White House officials, who are launching a concerted effort to discredit their former colleague.
