Ben Schwartz Reveals He Will Voice Sonic The Hedgehog In Upcoming Movie

Ben Schwartz Voicing Sonic the Hedgehog In the Forthcoming Film

According to Variety, Ben Schwartz is going to voice Sonic the Hedgehog. Standard Sonic stuff then. And now he's getting his own movie, and the actor who will voice the speedy, blue hero has been revealed. The film is being labeled a live-action family film, but CGI elements will most likely be used to create Sonic and his friends.

Schwartz has some experience with voice acting, lending his distinct voice to the Ducktales reboot as Dewey Duck (the blue one) and the upcoming Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as Leonardo (the blue one). You can find out more about that over here. Whether or not it lives up to the hype remains to be seen, but it's nice to see that Schwartz seems genuinely confident about the project.

Sonic the Hedgehog is in production, and will also star James Marsden and Tika Sumpter.
