Official photographs released from Prince Louis of Cambridge's christening

The second picture was just the royal family together, and this time the eldest of the Cambridge children, Prince George, offered up a cheeky grin as he sat on his father's lap.

The breathtakingly attractive photos were unveiled to mark the young Prince's christening, which was attended by senior members of the royal family.

One of the snaps shows them surrounded by Prince Charles, Camilla, Kate's family and Prince Harry and Meghan.

Kate's sister Pippa, who is now pregnant with her first child, proudly stood with her husband James Matthews and brother James Middleton.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall also took their places behind the young family, and Harry and Megan also posed for the first official portraits since their marriage two months ago.

Speaking after the official shoot, Mr Holyoak said: "I was truly honoured at being asked to take the official photographs at the christening of Prince Louis, and to witness at first hand such a happy event".

Kate wears a cream Alexander McQueen dress with floral headpiece by Jane Taylor, and her long her has been swept back in a bun.

"Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure".

The 92-year-old Queen and her husband Prince Philip were not among the guests.

The following day the Queen, alongside other members of the royal family, attended the RAF centenary in London. The picture is a throwback to the christenings of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
