Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is getting a second beta

Black Ops 4 beta dates

Finally, September will see the developer roll out another Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta, this time focusing on the all-new battle royale game mode, Blackout. Starting August 10th, PC players who have pre-ordered the game will gain access to the early access beta via Battle.net.

PC players will have their own PC Open Beta which will take place from 10am PT Saturday, August 11 until 10am PT Monday, August 13.

The first round of betas will be for multiplayer and is coming in August. The very first beta tests for the game will kick off on that day at 1 PM Eastern. The Private Blackout Beta will begin first on PlayStation 4 in September. To get access, you must pre-order the game either digitally or through a physical retailer - you should have received a code with your receipt if you opted for a disc.

All participants in the beta will receive a calling card to display, and every player who achieves max rank earns a Permanent Unlock Token. Instead of a solitary beta event as is usually the case with Call of Duty games, there will be two betas. Game modes will consist of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy and the brand new objective-based mode, Control.
