Mueller indictments: Congressional candidate requested Guccifer stolen docs

Hermitage Capital CEO Bill Browder on President Trump's upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and why he opposes Germany's gas pipeline deal with Russia.

Officers of Russia's military intelligence agency, the GRU, "in their official capacities engaged in a sustained effort to hack into the computer networks of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Democratic National Committee and the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton", a Justice Department news release said.

Trump has frequently dismissed the Russian Federation probe as a "witch hunt" and expressed his anger that Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from overseeing the investigation.

Mueller and a team of prosecutors have been working since May 2017 to determine if any Trump associates conspired with Russian Federation to interfere in the election. But coming amid fresh allegations into Russia's attempts to sway the 2016 election, the sessions on election security have a higher level of urgency and interest.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein detailed the new charges at a mid-day press conference.

Rosenstein told BBC that the defendants corresponded with several Americans during the conspiracy to manipulate the elections but there is no direct allegation that any U.S. citizen indulged in criminal activity.

So far, the investigation has led to the indictments of four former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer.

The announcement of the indictment came at an awkward time for Trump, who met Britain's Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle on Friday for tea during a visit to Britain.

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer has urged the president to cancel that meeting, in light of the indictment.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday that the indictment aimed to damage the atmosphere before the summit.

Sexually Transmitted Infection MG Could Become The Next Antibiotic-Resistant Superbug
The study and other experts, however, suggest a few concerns that the infection is reportedly developing resistance to this. The NHS states that tests for this condition have only recently been developed and are not available in all clinics yet.

"Today's charges include no allegations of knowing involvement by anyone on the campaign and no allegations that the alleged hacking affected the election result".

Several prominent Democratic lawmakers called on Trump to cancel the summit.

Donald Trump blamed Barack Obama for not responding aggressively enough to Russian hacking of Democrats in the 2016 U.S. election.

"President Trump should cancel his meeting with Vladimir Putin until Russian Federation takes demonstrable and transparent steps to prove that they won't interfere in future elections". The indictment also mentions the use of the X-Tunnel malware that was used to securely steal data from infected servers and individuals.

Prosecutors say weeks later, Guccifer 2.0 referred to a stolen DCCC document posted online and asked the person, "what do u think of the info on the turnout model for the democrats entire presidential campaign". I have embedded a copy of the indictment below.

The explosive political question within the United States remains whether any Americans were involved with the Russian active measures. "You can certainly imagine a subsequent indictment in the future of an American of being part of this conspiracy", Mariotti said. Trump famously said maybe the DNC hack wasn't from the Russians but from a 400-pound guy on his bed. "At or about the same time, they also targeted seventy-six email addresses at the domain for the Clinton campaign".

On the morning of July 27, 2016, Trump gave a speech in which he said 'Russia, if you're listening, ' he'd love to get a look at the thousands of emails Clinton had said she deleted from her tenure as secretary of state.

After indictment of Russian spies, are Mueller and Rosenstein immune from dismissal? They allegedly mined coins and acquired them "through a variety of means to obscure the origin of the funds", which were used to finance cyberattacks against Democratic party officials, members of Hillary Clinton's campaign, and others.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was quoted as saying that the 12 Russians accused of hacking the committee used spear phishing emails and malicious software in their purported cyber attacks. That matches the date that a WikiLeaks began publishing internal DNC documents. They also created a fake identity, Guccifer 2.0, who claimed to be a Romanian hacker with "totally no relation to the Russian government".

"Rosenstein, who has oversight over the FBI and of the Mueller investigation is where the buck stops", Goodlatte said.
