Report Clarifies Claims of Liverpool's Interest in Juventus Star Paulo Dybala

Liverpool transfer news Barcelona Philippe Coutinho

Liverpool are ready to submit a €90 million (£80m) bid to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus, according to reports in Argentina.

With the Portuguese now set to take center stage in Turin, Liverpool may promise Dybala more of a starring role than what he would have at Juventus next season alongside Ronaldo.

TeamTalk are citing a report from the Sun that claims Liverpool have identified the out-of-favour PSG star as a possible new recruit and Klopp is seriously considering launching a swoop to sign the 28-year-old.

Dybala's Juve future is now up in the air following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

Dybala was not told about Juve's plans to sign Ronaldo.

The Liverpool Echo add the Reds are yet to pursue an alternative to Fekir.

Can, who was left out of Germany's doomed World Cup squad after an injury-riddled season on Merseyside, was speaking for the first time as a Juventus player and said, via Sky Sports: "I didn't have problems with Klopp".

Klopp has already been busy in the transfer market strengthen his squad in recent weeks after splashing out around £100m on two new midfielders with Naby Keita completing his move from RB Leipzig while Fabinho has been snapped-up from Monaco. As to whether it's a £50m, £60m Alisson, or another keeper for £20m to fight it out, we don't know.
