Moment professor's pet cat interrupts live TV interview

Hilarious moment politics professor's cat interrupts live TV interview by leaping on his HEAD

Polish historian & political scientist Jerzy Targalski was taking part in a very serious interview on political tension in his home country with Dutch television channel Nieuwsuur when his cat made a decision to take some of the limelight.

Perhaps it's the way the pet just climbs onto his shoulders like it's NBD.

Targalski continued talking to journalist Rudy Bouma as if it were all pre-planned.

It's reminiscent of the time North Korea expert Robert E Kelly was interrupted by his daughter and baby son during an interview with the BBC. So in the spirit of the now-grand tradition of beloved small creatures crashing live TV interviews, please (fancy) feast your eyes on this featured video. The producers did not use a soundbite from Targlaski when his cat was on his head, but did include a shot of him petting the kitty.
