Vehicle seized as investigation into deadly Novichok nerve agent widens in England

Dawn Sturgess has died

Williamson was asked in parliament about the threat facing people in Britain after the death of Dawn Sturgess on Sunday.

'Dawn will always be remembered by us as a gentle soul who was generous to a fault.

"It was subsequently taken to DSTL and following further scientific advice, the investigation team also carried out forensic enquiries on the bus as they look to establish the point at which Dawn and Charlie were contaminated with the nerve agent".

"He is in a critical but stable condition, and is now conscious".

Police are now searching for a "contaminated item" that could have exposed the pair to the nerve agent, which is the same substance found in the poisoning of former Russian spy Sergei Skripel and his daughter Yulia in nearby Salisbury.

Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has blamed Russian Federation for committing "an attack on British soil" over the latest poisonings.

British Home Secretary Sajid Javid said scientists have yet not determined if the nerve agent that caused Sturgess' death was from the same batch that poisoned the Skripals.

Charlie Rowley, 45, woke up Tuesday at Salisbury Hospital in London.

Those locations are Muggleton Road, Boots pharmacy, and the Baptist church in Amesbury, and John Baker House and Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury.

Three other men who also travelled in the van have been tested and show no signs of having been exposed to Novichok, Mr Basu said.

Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow "is deeply concerned" over the poisoning cases in Britain.
