On Wednesday, Kensington Palace announced that Prince Louis will be baptised on 9 July.

The service will take place at The Chapel Royal at St James's Palace and it will be conducted by Justin Welby, The Archbishop of Canterbury. His sister, Princess Charlotte, was christened two months after her May 2015 birth.

Prince George is yet to be seen together with both his younger siblings, with the youngest Prince missing recent events including his uncle Prince Harry's wedding and the Queen's Birthday Parade, Trooping the Colour.

Louis was born on April 23.

It's set to take place on Monday, July 9, according to a statement from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released via the palace.

The robe is a replica of the intricate lace and satin dress made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841.

His next public appearance is likely to be his christening, for which no public date has been announced.

George was three months old when he was baptised, while Charlotte was only nine weeks.
