Politicians visit border amid outrage on family separation

The Trump administration has come under fire for housing children separated from their parents in makeshift cages

An audio recording was released Monday depicting children desperately crying and begging for their parents after being separated from them by US immigration authorities at its southwestern border, sparking new outrage against the Trump administration and its new "zero-tolerance policy" towards illegal immigrants. When he told people he'd "make America great again", he was telling them that he'd return us to a time when they wouldn't have to hear people speaking Spanish in the grocery store, or watch their kids compete with the children of Nigerian immigrants for spots in elite colleges, or drive by a Korean church in their town.

2,342 children who were separated. "And even in those far more serious cases, decisions involving the separation of children from their parents were made with extraordinary caution, and only after an evaluation of the specific circumstances of a particular case", the letter said.

The now-viral clip has driven anger that continues to mount against US President Donald Trump, whose administration has introduced a "zero-tolerance" approach towards migrants and refugees who cross the US southern border without documents. Tell them to start thinking about the people devastated by Crime coming from illegal immigration.

Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, the Republican chairman of the Judiciary Committee, said he wants to do away with a legal settlement that requires the government to release children from custody and to their parents, adult relatives or other caretakers, in order of preference.

Four former first ladies have joined the current one, Melania Trump, in voicing opposition to the Trump administration's move to separate families at the US-Mexico border. "It is not necessary to separate parents and children to effectively enforce the nation's immigration laws", said Doris Meissner, who was commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service for seven years during the Clinton administration. That means children must be taken from their parents at the border because children can't be sent to jail.

Mr Trump's comments come as German Chancellor Angela Merkel faces a row over immigration that threatens to scupper her three-month-old coalition Government.

She wrote that when her mother-in-law, former first lady Barbara Bush, visited a home for children with HIV and AIDS in 1989, she held an afflicted little boy who had been deemed "untouchable".

App maker tool now available for Google’s G Suite users
The company has also provided an administrative whitelisting control to avoid apps from running without their permission. Google explains: "Today, we're making App Maker generally available to help you rethink how your teams operate".

In an effort to rebut criticism of the administration, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Sunday repeated in a tweet the department's view: "We do not have a policy of separating families at the border".

"Border security and immigration enforcement are complex topics".

"Parents who entered illegally are, by definition, criminals", Nielsen said.

The President blamed Congress for inaction. "We give them meals and we give them education and we give them medical care", she said.

The Trump administration insists the family separations are required under the law.

Prior to the audio clip going viral, Trump said that he would not allow the United States to become a "migrant camp", adding that "it will not be a refugee holding facility". "There was some child separation and some pushback by immigrant advocacy groups around that, but the numbers were quite limited". Feinstein's office to let her know I want to help her put a stop to this human rights disaster at the border.
