Atletico Confirm Lemar Signing As Griezmann Extends Deal Till 2023

France forward Griezmann signed a new contract with Atletico on Monday until 2023 after announcing he had resisted an offer to join Barca in a documentary called "The Decision", produced by Kosmos, the production company owned by Barca defender Pique.

Defender Hernandez, meanwhile, extended his contract until 2024, and winger Lemar signed a deal to join Atletico which they said was subject to him passing a medical and their preliminary deal with AS Monaco being formalised.

The contracts were signed in the French national team camp following guidelines from the French national team directors and the French manager.

"We respect Griezmann's decision to renew with Atletico as we respect any player's right to choose their future".
