Mary McCormack says husband’s Tesla car shot flames in traffic

Tesla goes up in flames in video captured by actor Mary McCormack

Video footage shows the £65,000 electric vehicle moments after other motorists urged the man to pull over after noticing something wasn't right.

McCormack is married to British director Michael Morris, who has directed episodes of Netflix's "House of Cards", "13 Reasons Why", and more. In the USA, investigations were launched after a Model S crashed into a concrete wall and caught fire in Florida, killing two teenagers.

Amy took to social media shortly after, to share the shocking footage.

A Tesla spokesperson told that the company is investigating the incident, and insists that the company's cars are far less likely to catch fire than gas vehicles. There were no injuries reported from the incident.
