Webster reportedly got into a road rage altercation with Bigelow near the area of Sheridan Boulevard and Turnpike Drive, and then followed Bigelow's vehicle to the Cedarwood Square office complex at 5150 W. 80th Ave., the affidavit says.

The shooting left a boy dead and his mother and brother in critical condition.

Westminster police say the boys' mother was also shot and sustained life-threatening injuries.

He faces charges including first-degree murder after deliberation with intent, police said.

Twenty-three-year-old Jeremy Webster told police he started taking a new prescription medication for mental health issues Thursday, just hours before he settled a driving dispute with his Glock 19 handgun, according to a search warrant affidavit.

In a statement on the fatal shooting in a parking lot in Colorado, Westminster police said: 'When officers arrived on scene, they found two adults and two children suffering from gunshot wounds. Cooper would later tell police that his mother pulled out her cellphone and took a picture of her pursuer's license plate, NPQ091.

Webster is now being held on several charges, including murder in the first degree. The child's mother and brother are in critical condition, and an unrelated man is less seriously wounded. Police have not released their names or ages.

A 23-year-old man has been accused of opening fire on four people outside a suburban Denver dental office, killing a boy and wounding his mother and brother, in what police on Friday called an act of road rage.

Department spokeswoman Cheri Spottke said a man suspected in the attack is in custody.

They have not provided more detail about what led to the shooting Thursday in the parking lot of a business complex about 14 miles northwest of Denver. An adult man, who was not related to the other victims, was also shot in the afternoon incident and is expected to survive, authorities said. Police haven't released their names or ages.

He said the driver followed the family's auto into a parking lot and argued briefly with his mother before opening fire, according to the warrant filed in court Friday.

Other witnesses told police that they saw Webster park his black Toyota Corolla behind the woman's vehicle in the middle of the lot.

The Denver Post reports that he was booked into jail Friday on suspicion of first-degree murder and three counts of first-degree assault.

Officers say there is no relationship between the gunman and the victims and have not released a motive for the shooting. The suspect's identity was also not immediately released.
