The Digital and Digital Enhanced editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will retail for $99.99 and $129.99, respectively. The same is true if players preordered the game digitally.

While we don't know the exact date right now, we do know, courtesy of a Comcast competition (via BusinessWire) which unequivocally states that a sweepstakes competition to get into a private beta runs until August, the rough period it'll go live. Around 40 lucky fans will be invited to Xfinity Stores to play "Black Ops 4".

The promotion will take place in eight US cities: Washington, Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, Seattle, Chicago, Indianapolis and Atlanta. Xfinity also plans to once again provide its internet customers with access to the Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta. The post states that Treyarch is "absolutely committed to supporting the entire community with a slew of free, post-release content that will extend the Black Ops 4 experience with new ways to play than we've ever done before". Pricing for the Black Ops Pass hasn't been revealed.

"I'm excited to team up with Xfinity to bring early access of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to fans and I can't wait to join my fellow gamers in Boston", Hayward said in the announcement.

Comcast is teaming up with Activision to give Call of Duty fans early access to Black Ops 4 prior to the game's launch on October 12. It appears that post-game downloadable content will be tied to the game's season pass, the Black Ops Pass, and the content can not be purchased separately.

Black Ops 4's Season Pass will feature a Day One bonus "Classified Zombies Experience", four new Zombies campaigns (in addition to the three already included in the base game), 12 new multiplayer maps, and four exclusive characters for the battle royale Blackout mode.
