DAEMON X MACHINA Is A Trippy Mech Shooter For The Switch James Mitchell

Nintendo opened the Nintendo Direct at E3 2018 with a bang, debuting a new mech-based third-person shooter by the name of Daemon X Machina.

The trailer doesn't dive deep into the mechanics of how the game will play, but it does show a series of fights between robots of various shapes and sizes, some of which seem to be huge and wreaking havoc on their surroundings.

Armored Core 2 and 3 Producer Kenichiro Tsukuda is joined by No More Heroes and Fire Emblem character designer Yusuke Kozaki, Soulcalibur composer Junichi Nakatsuru, alongside Ryo Hamamoto known for the Tekken series. Directors Ken Awata and Ken Karube previously worked on Monster Hunter: Stories and a few other fantasy games, but this will be their first time working on something more firmly in the science fiction realm.
