Kim Kardashian slammed for promoting appetite-suppressing lollipops

Love her or hate her, we know Kim Kardashian is, well, the biggest influencer in the world.

The retaliation was swift, as followers pointed out that appetite suppressants aren't healthy and can send a particularly harmful message to the 111 million impressionable fans that watch Kardashian's every move.

One of those critics happened to be British actress Jamil, who took to Twitter to call out the 37-year-old reality TV star as a "terrible and toxic influence on young girls".

She added: "MAYBE don't take appetite [suppressants] and eat enough to fuel your BRAIN and work hard and be successful. And to have something to say about your life at the end, other than 'I had a flat stomach, '" she added, before crediting people on Twitter for getting her to take it down.

Jameela Jamil, an ex-radio host in the United Kingdom, took to Twitter to slam the mogul for her involvement in advertising a crooked dietary supplement.

She described the post as "toxic" and wrote: "This is how women are taught to value themselves".

Kim Kardashian West is well-known for divulging details of her dieting antics on social media. "Would you encourage your own kids to use appetite suppressors?"

Another person tweeted: "Wow I have lost all respect for Kim Kardashian".

"So yes, appetite suppressants are risky and bad", she explains.

"You're more satiated", Tara says. The company claims it is a "clinically proven safe active ingredient extracted from natural plants". This is disgusting. Your fans are going to be seeing this and thinking that this is how you get your body.

Activist Liam Hackett was one of the first people to comment.

"The best way to lose weight is ditch the lollipop and grab an apple".

What spawned from her frustrations, though, is something much more positive. You don't need the money to help your young followers get an eating disorder. "There are no shortcuts here".

With the storm of negativity, Kim deleted the photo from her page after only a few hours.

The initial post read: "You guys..."

Kim Kardashian West found herself in hot water after posting an #ad for an "appetite suppressing" lollipop.
