Stephon Clark's older brother Stevante arrested on suspicion of making threats

His brother, Stephon Clark, was fatally shot by Sacramento police officers on March 18.

Stevante Clark, 25, also is accused of making criminal threats and abusing a 911 emergency line. He later apologized saying at his brother's funeral that he was sorry for storming into the meeting and yelling at Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg. Clark was holding a gun, but he was actually holding a cell phone, the officers thought.

"My heart is gone", Stevante Clark said at one council meeting.

Stevante Clark, 25, was arrested and taken to the Sacramento County Main Jail around 12 p.m., Thursday afternoon, Fox News reported.

Clark family members and their lawyer, Benjamin Crump, did not respond to requests for comment.
