President Trump's personal lawyer also represented Sean Hannity

Trump lawyers fight to keep seized Cohen files out of investigators' hands

Cohen's lawyers were required by a federal judge in NY to disclose the names of his clients Monday as part of an argument over attorney-client privilege and how it applies to records seized from Cohen last week by the FBI.

After Wood demanded Cohen's team reveal the name of the client, an audible gasp went out in the courtroom when Hannity's name was announced, Pegues said. "And he stood up and named him as Sean Hannity", Fox News correspondent Laura Ingle said on air just after 3 p.m. Monday.

Journalist Gabriel Sherman told MSNBC that sources told him Hannity had talked to Cohen advice about going after left-wing groups who had been trying to take him off the air.

"Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter". Michael never represented me in any matter, I never retained him, I never paid legal fees to Michael. He assumed those discussions were covered by attorney-client privilege, he said, and emphasized that they were never about matters involving "any third party".

Cohen's lawyers have called the raid "completely unprecedented" and asked the judge to let their lawyers review the documents or put in place a special master to comb through the seized material and separate communications that should be protected by attorney client privilege. When he did, the host claimed that, contrary to the disclosure in court, he never had a formal attorney-client relationship with Cohen.

Man City are crowned champions
City are worthy champions, having been head and shoulders above their neighbours as well as the rest of the league this season. The second-half performance from eight days ago was an example of how the Devils could play if they managed to be consistent.

Late Sunday, lawyers for Trump asked for copies of the seized material to be turned over so the President could review them for confidential information.

Hannity later said on Twitter that his conversations with Cohen never involved anyone else.

Prosecutor Thomas McKay told the judge during a sidebar session on Friday, "This is a fast-moving investigation".

Cohen paid $130,000 to Stormy Daniels as part of a nondisclosure agreement, which she says was meant to silence her about an affair she had with Trump.

Last week, prosecutors said in a court filing that they have been investigating Cohen for months "for criminal conduct that largely centers on his personal business dealings". The second is Elliot Brody, who, according to the Wall Street Journal, hired Cohen to negotiate $1.6 million in payments to a former Playboy model who said Broidy had impregnated her. Cohen's lawyers then wrote of Hannity, "The third legal client directed Mr. Cohen not to reveal the identity publicly".
