Anderson then went on to land his most well-known role, playing Judge Harry T. Stone on Night Court, which aired on NBC from 1984-92.

Police were called to Anderson's home before 8 a.m., according to Christina Hallingse, Asheville police public information officer.

Police confirmed the news this morning, revealing that no foul play was suspected in his death.
