According to Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, Buhari said this when he visited Prime Minister Theresa May of Britain at 10, Downing Street, London, on Monday.

The president who departed Nigeria for the United Kingdom on April 9is expected to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings scheduled for 18th to 20th April 2018 in London.

The President also briefed May on his administration's strides in agriculture, which he said had put Nigeria firmly on the road to food self-sufficiency.

Buhari, a 75-year-old former general and one-time military head of state, announced earlier this month he would seek re-election next year - a move that laid to rest months of speculation over his health.

President Muhammadu Buhari has acknowledged that stoppage of teaching of history as a subject in schools was a mistake.

She also noted: "Good grounding in education is good". But the major opposition Peoples Democratic Party faulted is claim, saying the president should be honest to tell the world his administration's true performance, rather than giving false indices.

"It is also a good bastion and defence against modern slavery".
