Impaired bride crashes on her way to her wedding

Amber Young 32 is arrested Monday in her wedding gown on suspicion of impaired driving in southern Arizona

A bride-to-be in Arizona was arrested en route to her wedding on Monday for allegedly driving under the influence.

The wreck occurred about 10:30 a.m. near North Thornydale and West Orange Grove roads, Marana police spokesman Sgt. Chriswell Scott said.

It is not clear why Amber Young, 32, was on her own as she headed to the wedding, but she is said to have been involved in a three-vehicle crash on her way there.

Young was booked, her blood sample extracted and she signed a criminal citation to appear in court later, reports say.
