WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy has been arrested for driving while impaired in Concord, N.C., after he crashed his vehicle.

The report said Hardy, "ran off the roadway. striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the vehicle spun out 90 degrees. coming to rest in the middle of the right [north] bound lane of travel".

Hardy was driving northbound on the Concord Parkway Saturday when he ran off road and hit 105 feet of guardrail before spinning out on control, according to the arrest report obtained by CBS Sports.

Hardy, who has been in and out of WWE since the 1990s, underwent surgery to fix a torn rotator cuff in October.

The former WWE Champion is expected to return to Carrabus County Courts on April 16. Wrestling Inc reports that Hardy totaled a 2016 Cadillac CTS-V with an estimated $8,000 in damages.

WWE filmed The Ultimate Deletion with brother Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt at the Hardy Compound last week. "We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials". How this news will impact on future plans also remains to be seen.
