EagleVail's Mikaela Shiffrin locked up her second-straight overall World Cup title Friday with a third-place finish in a giant slalom at Ofterschwang, Germany. Moser-Proell returned and won another 21 races.
Shiffrin now carries a 603-point lead into next week's World Cup Finals in Are, Sweden, and mathematically clinches her second-straight overall World Cup title. With one race remaining, she leads world giant slalom champion Tessa Worley of France by 92 points in the discipline standings.
Shiffrin sits second, on 657, and Rebensburg third on 607.
