Modi announced a defence industrial corridor in Bundelkhand. "That Uttar Pradesh is organising an investor summit at such a wide level, itself defines change", the Prime Minister said.

To make the summit a big success roadshows and awareness programs to attract investment from states like Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

The Prime Minister in fact referred to his visit to the Maharashtra summit saying the western Indian state had already set a goal of becoming a trillion dollar economy soon. The chief minister will also hold one-o-one interactions with top industrialist and foreign delegates to request them personally for making investment in Uttar Pradesh. "UP has tremendous potential in the tourism sector".
